We Like Skiing … You Like Skiing…
The club is a community organization based in Upper Bucks County. Upper Bucks Ski Club started in 1974 as a group of 12 friends. Over the years we have grown to over 200 members comprised of Singles & families of all ages.
Trips
Throughout the Ski Season we take trips ranging from one day to over a week. The weekend & week-long trips are usually planned in advance but we also have spur of the moment outings throughout the season.
Each year we take a group to the EPSC Winter Carnival which is 5-7 days and usually goes out west to places like Park City, Breckenridge & Steamboat. We also offer drive-up trips to resorts in Vermont, New Hampshire & New York.
Snowboarders Welcome!
Our club welcomes anyone who likes to slide down the mountain, regardless of what’s under your feet. We’re not going to hold it against you if you like to sit at the top for a while before taking a run. Most of us are happy to find new Ski/Ride buddies. Most benefits available to skiers are also available to snowboards. Only exception would be a free ski lesson where we don’t have a snowboard instructor.
The Warm Months
Our season doesn’t end when the snow melts. Summer activities range from bike rides, kayaking, happy hour and many more. No matter the season we have something going on!

Our Members
Annual Auction
UBSC was one of the first clubs in the area to start an Annual Auction to raise money for its club. It is still an annual event where members and guests can be the top bidder on many ski related items, as well as items donated by merchants local to the Quakertown area.
- Friends of Nockamixon State Park – Safe Adaptive Dock Project. Gangway and aluminum floating with ADA features, make it easier for people in wheelchairs or with limited mobility to get in and out of kayaks, canoes and other boats.
- PA Wounded Warriors Project – Promotes skiing for wounded service men and women
- Paralympic Athlete Tyler Carter – To help Topton skier compete in the Paralympic Games in Sochi, Russia.
- Pennsylvania SnowSports Museum – Dedicated to preserving our winter sports heritage. It is an educational organization that was formed in 1994.
